The difference
It does not fill in the return for you.
Tools that auto-match put a number in a field and hope you notice. That is the wrong trade for work you sign. aelvar separates what it read from what you accepted: a figure sits outside the return until a person confirms it, and the return is computed only from confirmed figures.
It is not a lodgment tool and it is not tax advice. It prepares, evidences and controls. You decide.
How it works

Read
Client documents arrive by portal, email or a folder drop. Text-layer PDFs are parsed in milliseconds; photographs and scans go through OCR. Amounts are read with the page and the line they came from.
Score
Every figure faces two checks. Confidence below your threshold means the reader was unsure. Failed reconciliation means it was confident but the document does not add up.
Confirm
Anything either check catches is held, with the reason in plain language and the evidence beside it. A preparer confirms or corrects. Nothing enters the return until someone does.
Evidence
The review package assembles itself in your SOP's order: cover sheet, sign-offs, variance explanations, and every source document indexed and labelled.

The review package
A bundle a partner can sign.
One PDF, in your SOP’s order. A cover sheet carrying the sign-off matrix and the review points. Then the return, and every document that proves it — indexed, page-numbered, labelled to the item it supports, and stamped so a page printed on its own can still be traced back.
